Charging your BYD vehicle starts at home—simple, convenient, and always ready when you are. With many NEV owners in Pakistan charging at home, it's the most preferred and hassle-free way to keep your car powered. Every BYD electric vehicle comes equipped with a standard 2.2kW home charger (full charge in 8-12 hours depending on the vehicle), capable of charging your car overnight.
If you’re looking for faster charging times and added flexibility, our 7kW Fast Charger is the perfect upgrade (full charge in 4-6 hours depending on the vehicle). This charger delivers nearly twice the speed of our standard charger. Professionally installed at home, it offers faster charging and greater convenience for your BYD vehicle.
However, when you're on the go or need a quick top-up during the day, public charging stations become essential to keep you moving without delay.
BYD, in collaboration with HUBCO Green (Private) Limited (HGL), is leading the charge in developing Pakistan’s largest NEV charging network. This nationwide infrastructure is built with the goal of driving the country towards a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.
Strategic collaborations with leading Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have enabled HUBCO Green to initiate the deployment of a DC fast-charging network across the country.
With NEV charging stations already operational across Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, drivers now have convenient access to public chargers with capacities ranging from 30 kW to 120 kW, making fast and reliable charging easily accessible wherever you go. For instance, the BYD ATTO 3 supports fast charging up to 70 kW. That means you can charge up to 50% in less than 30 minutes using a 60 kW public charger, equivalent to 160 – 200 kms, ideal for staying powered up while on the go.
Our nationwide charging network also includes destination charging avenues such as malls and hypermarkets within cities. As part of the plan, HGL has envisaged to develop a charging station at every 200–250 kilometers along the route from Karachi to Peshawar.
Our DC fast chargers, such as the 60kW model, can deliver up to 50% charge to the BYD Atto3 in less than 30 minutes, equivalent to approximately 25 kWh of energy. That’s 25 kWh of clean power and fossil fuel emissions saved
How to start charging your NEV?
Charging your BYD electric vehicle is simple and user-friendly. Here’s how it works:
Locate a nearby BYD-compatible charging station using our station locator and simply plug in.
Connect the charger to your car, just like refueling, the charging port is in a similar spot to the fuel cap on a traditional vehicle.
